The 2.65L Gen3 TVS from VMP has been proven capable of 800+ rwhp on factory engines (with appropriate supporting mods and fuel) and over 1200rwhp on built engine setups. Featured on Weir Racing's "Deimos" 2013 GT500, we ran over 225mph at Texas Mile with this supercharger (not ported, no nitrous). Whether you are looking for a basic bolt on swap or an 8 second 1/4 mile, Weir Racing will help you meet your goals.
Pulley Selection:
When making the switch and selecting a pulley, remember the Gen 3 moves far more air. You'll need to pick a pulley combo about 3-4 sizes larger with the Gen 3 to make the same boost as a Gen 2-R. The smallest recommended pulley for use with 93 octane is a 2.8" unless otherwise consulted. A 2.8" upper will make the same boost as a 2.4" upper on a Gen2-R. If you only have 91 octane available, a 3.0" upper pulley may be used with a stock lower.
