Introducing our new version COPO tensioner, built for the 2.6L Magnuson Supercharger
Winning matters and you know that your factory belt tensioner was not designed to stand up to the stress and strain of the added HP and Torque of a true race car. Our tensioner is fabricated from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum, not cast. Internal components include a TGP shaft, hardened bushings, proprietary spring and thrust bearings make this the strongest and smoothest belt tensioner on the market. It has been tested and proven on the DYNO and the Track and will reduce if not completely eliminate belt slip, which will increase boost and HP. Best of all it is a direct bolt on replacement for the stock unit, no brackets, fittings our adapters are needed. We are so confident that our tensioner will not bend or break that we will guarantee it for the life.

Note: Will work with 2.9 Whipple if you can drill a new hole in the mounting bracket. The only difference is the position of the locating lug.
